Kris Bryant enjoys walking around the trails

With 15 hits, including four from Kris Bryant, the Chicago Cubs easily defeated the Pittsburgh Pirates, 11-3.

Robel Garcia, of the Cubs, hit his first three hits in Major League Baseball: a triple, a singles and a circuit. He was in his second game in the big leagues.



Dansby Swanson produced five points and the Atlanta Braves overshadowed the Philadelphia Phillies, 12-6.

Swanson slammed a three-point and a solo circuit, as well as a one-point double.

Ozzie Albies hit a long three-point ball, while Nick Markakis got three doubles.

Anthony Rendon kicked off his 20th circuit of the season and scored a possible winning point to lead the Washington Nationals to a 5-2 win and a sweep of their three-game series against the Miami Marlins.

Kurt Suzuki hit a long ball in the second inning, bringing the Montreal Expos / Nationals franchise record to 18 with at least one homerun. Rendon crashed in the fourth inning against Elieser Hernandez (1-3) and pushed Gerardo Parra to the plate on the fifth leg of a single.

The Nationals have won eight of their last nine games, and 13 of their last 16 games.

Jesse Winker scored on a Yasiel Puig single and the Cincinnati Reds had the last word against the Milwaukee Brewers, 1-0.

Winker hit a double in the first inning. Joey Votto and Puig then hit singles in the infield, allowing Winker to cross the plate.

Left fielder, Winker had a 3-in-3 match.

Luis Castillo (8-3) gave only one in seven innings and two-thirds, removing nine batters.

The Brewers hit only two hits, including a Christian Yelich double.
